Update 1.21 has been released for Gran Turismo 7 . A list describing known errors is also available.
After Gran Turismo 7 received new content such as vehicles and track variations via an update last week, the update 1.21 released today is dedicated to two bugs that had a negative impact on the missions and the licence centre.
In the missions, according to the changelog, an issue was fixed where the tyre wear speed was too fast and made it difficult to finish the “Bathurst Gr.3 Battle” in [Missions] > [The Sun Also Rises].
Fixed an issue in the Licence Centre where the game would not resume after fast-forwarding to the next lap while playing some licence demonstration videos.
That’s all the changelog for update 1.21 gives away, so no new content should be expected.
The release of the new update for Gran Turismo 7 does not mean that there are no more problems in the racing game. The list of known bugs is longer than the last published changelog.
In the list, Polyphony Digital refers, among other things, to problems that can occur in the lobby of the racing game. For example, it can happen that the host cannot start the race although the message “Preparing” is displayed on the screen. However, there is a temporary solution for this: if all room members leave the room and re-enter, the race can be started.
Another bug concerns the 2-player split-screen races in which the driving aid settings are locked for player 2. And in the lobby, there were situations where users could not progress after completing a race. Problems were also recorded in the garage and the loading screen.
See you on the track!
