Gran Turismo 7 ’s much-anticipated July update, Patch 1.49, certainly made an impact—though not quite the one developers intended.
Instead of enhancing the driving experience, players found their cars bouncing and flying in all directions, leading to some truly hilarious and bizarre in-game moments. From cars hopping like lowriders to launching like kangaroos, the unintended antics caused a stir across social media.
The issue primarily affected cars with engine swaps and extreme suspension settings, making drifting setups particularly prone to these unpredictable behaviors.
Acknowledging the chaos, Polyphony Digital swiftly rolled out Patch 1.50 to address these issues. This update aims to stabilize the game’s driving physics and bring the focus back to a realistic racing experience.
