Kazunori Yamauchi, the leader of the Gran Turismo franchise, has been talking about the future of the driving franchise. Since Gran Turismo 7 was released in March, Polyphony Digital has been improving the game and adding new content. However, it seems that Kazunori is already working on the next tittle.
During an interview with Game Watch, Kazunori was asked about Polyphony Digital’s plans for the future of the Gran Turismo franchise. He responded that there is a theme they are working on, but he can’t share any more details yet.
“I’m starting to think about the next game, but I can’t tell you much more. It’s a pity I can’t talk much about it,” Yamauchi replied.
In the interview, Kazunori was asked about elements that are still missing in Gran Turismo and what he would like to achieve in a future installment. Although he could not give specific details, he acknowledged that there is a theme they are working on.
