The Lister Storm GT will be the one to kick off what is presumably going to be a substantial list of cars in GTRevival. The title, based on the MADNESS engine created by SMS (formerly known as the Bell studio), appears to be precisely what its name suggests—a refreshing nod to the heydays of the old GTR and the late ’90s to early 2000s golden era of motorsport.
Towards the end of its real-world lifespan, when Lister had already closed its doors, the virtual racing world discovered the mighty Lister Storm GT, which was reborn in all its auditory glory for GTR and GTR2.
A car that anyone who was around at that time fell in love with. From its beautiful cockpit to the sound of the V12 and the neutral handling approved by George Lister (until you hit the throttle on the exit because then it becomes a tribute to the drift king Archie Scott Brown), the Lister wasn’t the fastest thing you could drive in GTR, but nobody really cared because racing this beast was simply rewarding.

Looking back, those five years between 1999 and 2004 were truly a second golden age to compare with the golden years of GT racing in the 1950s and 1960s. An era that awaits you in GTRevival. The new game will be published by PLAION.
See you on the track!
