Today is the 15th anniversary of the project called iRacing. This simulator was born from a 20 million bet from John C. Henry trying to achieve a real tool and a different business model for the race car drivers and motorsport companies. Now the expectations have been surpassed.
iRacing is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this month! As a thank you for being a part of our amazing community, we’re granting all active users iRacing credits equal to the age of your account (up to 15 credits).
For example, if you created your account in August 2008, you will receive $15 in credits. Every active member will receive at least $1 in credit, even if you created your account on August 25th of this year. If you joined five years ago, you will get $5 in credit. ($1 in credit will be the minimum and $15 the maximum for every active member.)
Your membership does not have to be continuous—we’re going by your membership start date, not how many active years you have been a member. That way, we can give away more credits! This anniversary credit program will apply to both Steam members and Direct iRacing members.
As long as your account is active, you will see your anniversary gift reflected automatically in your account balance on August 26th. Enjoy!
