The development of iRacing Arcade will continue to expand in the coming months. In a recent interaction on the social media platform X, iRacing Executive Vice President Steve Myers confirmed that the game will receive new content in the near future, coinciding with the release of its console versions.

The statement came in direct response to a player’s question about whether the arcade title would continue to expand its content after its initial launch. Myers’ reply suggests that the studio already has concrete plans to add more material to the game and that these updates will benefit both PC and console players.

In the conversation shared on X, a user asked whether iRacing Arcade would receive new content after its launch. Myers responded directly that the team already has plans in place.

According to the executive, the new content will arrive alongside the console versions, and most notably, it will also be added to the PC version for free.

Although Myers did not specify exactly what type of content will be included, his message confirms that the title will not remain a static release and that the studio intends to expand it progressively after its initial debut.

The Console Version Will Be Key for Future Expansions

Plans for additional content appear to be closely tied to the game’s release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, which is expected to take place sometime in 2026.

Initially, iRacing Arcade launched first on PC via Steam, while the console versions are scheduled to arrive later with additional features.

According to official project information, the console release will also include more cars and tracks, content that will later be unlocked for PC players as well.

Licensed DLC and New Features in Development

Beyond the updates planned for the console launch, iRacing has also indicated that it intends to release downloadable content packs featuring official licenses.

These DLC packs could introduce new car categories, championships, or tracks inspired by real-world competitions, expanding the game’s scope beyond its initial offering.

The structure of the title has been specifically designed to support that expansion: the game combines arcade-style racing with a progression system in which players manage their own team, invest in upgrades, and compete across different motorsport series.

iRacing Arcade is available on Steam today with a free demo, and will also release on Xbox and PlayStation consoles this summer.
