iRacing Arcade is now officially available with a clear mission: bringing the prestige of a professional racing simulator into a more accessible and family-friendly space. Designed for casual players and younger audiences, the new title scales down the traditional competitive universe, featuring miniature versions of both cars and tracks without losing the DNA of real-world motorsports.
Developed by Original Fire Games in collaboration with iRacing, the project achieves something its spiritual predecessor, Circuit Superstars, could not fully deliver: officially licensed vehicles alongside generic models inspired by real racing categories.
Complete Car List in iRacing Arcade
The game includes a mix of city cars, open-wheel machines, and endurance prototypes:
- Fiat 500
- Formula 4
- Formula GP (inspired by F1)
- Formula Junior (Ray FF1600)
- GTP (inspired by the Porsche 963)
- LMP2
- Porsche 911 GT3 Cup
- Touring Car
The lineup spans multiple motorsport disciplines, from entry-level formula categories to high-performance endurance prototypes, offering gameplay variety without overwhelming its target audience.
Official Licenses and Generic Models: A Strategic Balance
One of the most interesting aspects of the project is its approach to licensing. Thanks to its partnership with iRacing, the title includes officially recognized vehicles such as the Fiat 500 and the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, adding authenticity and brand appeal.
However, the remaining cars follow a generic approach clearly inspired by real-world categories. For example:
- The Formula 4 carries the category license but does not use specific chassis names such as Tatuus or Mygale.
- The Formula GP visually and conceptually represents Formula 1 while avoiding direct references.
- The GTP is based on the concept of the Porsche 963, though presented in a fictionalized form.
This strategy preserves competitive recognition without taking on the legal and financial complexity of full model-by-model licensing.
From Hardcore Simulation to Accessible Racing
While iRacing’s main platform is defined by its ultra-realistic and highly competitive focus, iRacing Arcade significantly lowers the learning curve. The miniature cars and circuits are designed for fast-paced, dynamic, and visually engaging races.
The diversity of categories — from a compact city car to endurance prototypes — suggests the game aims to deliver varied driving styles within a simplified environment. Rather than replicating the professional simulator experience, the goal is to introduce new players to the broader digital motorsports ecosystem.
