iRacing Studios will bring its more accessible racing game to consoles this Friday, with a free content update arriving for existing PC players on the same day.
iRacing Arcade launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 21, 2026, priced at $24.99.
The game originally launched on PC through Steam earlier this year and was developed by iRacing Studios and Original Fire Games.
Unlike the main iRacing simulator, iRacing Arcade is built around a more accessible racing format, with licensed cars and circuits, career progression, quick races and multiplayer modes.
Four new cars arrive with the console release
The August 21 update adds four licensed cars:
- Porsche 963 GTP
- BMW M Hybrid V8
- Ferrari 296 GT3
- Mazda MX-5 Cup
The additions expand the game’s mix of prototype, GT and one-make racing machinery.
Five new track configurations
iRacing Arcade will also receive five additional circuit configurations.
The update includes layouts from:
- Watkins Glen International
- Daytona International Speedway
- Sebring International Raceway
- Road Atlanta
- Circuit of the Americas
Split-screen multiplayer arrives
Alongside Career mode, iRacing Arcade includes Free Play, Time Attack, AI racing, online leaderboards and multiplayer. The console release adds local split-screen multiplayer, allowing two players to race on the same system.
PC players get the new content for free
Existing Steam owners will receive the new cars, circuits and features as a free update on August 21.
That means the console launch also serves as a content update for the existing PC version rather than creating a separate set of paid additions. The release expands iRacing Studios’ presence beyond its subscription-based PC simulator with a racing game aimed at players looking for a simpler entry point.
