iRacing goes back to the origins with 2003 NASCAR Cup cars

For those who don’t know, the base code of iRacing dates back a long time, originating from a PC title focused on NASCAR that was a revolution in its day and dates back to 2003. Assuming nostalgia for its beginnings and youth, the company’s management team has decided to scan and develop that other era of American racing, so fondly remembered by some of them.

Through their Twitter accounts, one of the company’s closest collaborators, Dale Earnhardt Jr, has shared some previews of the scans and the cars that will appear in the platform in the future.

So, we have the champion of the year; Matt Kenseth’s Ford Taurus, sponsored by DeWalt and in the Roush Racing team. The second one is Kevin Harvick’s Chevrolet Impala, winner of the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
