We are already in 2024 with probably good news in the simracing world. Strong rumors are circulating about the top Indycar Series and its change of official platform.
A couple of months ago, we informed you about the split between IndyCar and Motorsport Games, who were jointly developing the category’s own platform. Today, according to Adam Stern’s tweet, there are advanced negotiations between IndyCar and iRacing for the platform to once again become the official home of the category in eSports.
.@IndyCar is moving toward a return to @iRacing's platform with an official announcement likely coming early in the new year, per a Penske Entertainment Corp. official.

The information has been disclosed by a spokesperson from Penske Entertainment Corp., who states that an official announcement could already be made in the first weeks of 2024.
Thus, we may likely have official races similar to the times of lockdown, when drivers like Lando Norris, Will Power, and Pato O’Ward competed from their simulators.
See you on the track!
