We’re rapidly approaching the end of the current iRacing season, signaling the dawn of the fourth season, ushering in fresh content like the Kern County circuits – both the dirt and asphalt versions.
As we’ve previously covered, Kern County Raceway Park is an oval track measuring 0.8 km, inaugurated in 2013 to replace the Mesa Marin Raceway. It boasts 8° banking on the straights and 14° banking on the paved turns. Additionally, an asymmetrical 0.53 km dirt oval track lies to the north of the asphalt oval, also making its way into the simulator.
Incorporating the graphical enhancements introduced this season, a YouTube video uploaded to the iRacing channel showcases the impressive visual quality these circuits hold.
Moreover, the video presents the four distinct configurations included for the oval circuits:
- Asphalt circuit
- Dirt circuit
- ‘Legends’ layout
- Dirt Mini Oval
These circuits, alongside more content, will be featured in the iRacing Season 4 launch.
