iRacing has released a new video showcasing the completely rebuilt Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course ahead of the 2026 Season 4 update. The circuit has been recreated from the ground up using new 2026 laser-scan data, with updated artwork across every configuration and full AI racing support included.
The dedicated video was published on September 8, giving drivers their clearest look yet at the new version of Mid-Ohio before the Season 4 build arrives.
The rebuild itself was first confirmed in iRacing’s August Development Update on August 28, when Mid-Ohio was announced alongside Milwaukee and Road America as one of three classic circuits being reconstructed from entirely new laser scans captured earlier in 2026.
Mid-Ohio has been rebuilt from the ground up
The new Mid-Ohio is more than a conventional graphics refresh. iRacing has rebuilt the circuit around a brand-new 2026 laser scan, bringing its track geometry and surrounding environment in line with the current real-world venue.
Artwork has also been updated using iRacing’s latest techniques, replacing the older version that has been part of the service since 2010.
The circuit remains one of the most technical road courses on the platform, combining fast sections, substantial elevation changes and several distinctive corners such as Turn One, the Keyhole, Madness and the Carousel.

All Mid-Ohio configurations are included
The rebuilt package retains Mid-Ohio’s different circuit configurations rather than focusing exclusively on the main road course.
The venue’s original layout uses a 2.4-mile, 15-turn configuration, while the more familiar alternative bypasses the Keyhole chicane to create a 2.25-mile, 13-turn circuit.
Mid-Ohio also includes a shorter configuration connecting the exit of Turn One to the back straight, along with a compact mini-oval built around the Keyhole area.
iRacing has confirmed that all configurations are ready for AI racing, making the entire updated package available for both online competition and offline sessions.
Existing Mid-Ohio owners get the rebuild free
The new Mid-Ohio will be added directly to the existing track package rather than sold separately.
That means anyone who already has access to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will receive the rebuilt 2026 version at no additional cost when the Season 4 build is deployed.
iRacing is following the same approach with Milwaukee and Road America, with each new laser-scanned version replacing or expanding the corresponding existing track package.
New drivers can access the service through an iRacing membership before 2026 Season 4 begins.
For Mid-Ohio, the result is a complete modernization of one of iRacing’s long-standing American road circuits: new scan data, rebuilt visuals, all layouts retained and full AI support, with no additional purchase required for existing owners.
