The newest paved oval coming to iRacing, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is the home of late model racing in Tennessee, a former part of the NASCAR Cup Series calendar, and home to the All-American 400, one of the biggest Late Model races of the year.
The names who have won at this track stretch from the beginnings of NASCAR, to the current day, including Joe Weatherly, Geoff Bodine, Darrell Waltrip, Richard Petty, Sterling Marlin, Bobby Hamilton, Chad Chaffin, and Chase Elliott.
It is one of the oldest tracks in the United States, opened in 1904. The track is currently a paved oval of 18 degrees. The track is 0.959 km long. Within the largest oval is a paved oval of 1⁄4 mi (0.40 km).
The track was converted to a paved oval of 1⁄2 mi (0.80 km) in 1957, when it began to be a NASCAR series track. Then, the track lengthened between the 1969 and 1970 seasons and the curves were reduced from 35 degrees to the current 18 degrees in 1972. Recently the track was resurfaced between the 1995 and 1996 seasons.
