The second season of the year 2021 is coming soon, and that means that little by little posts and news are coming out about the novelties that the next season will bring in iRacing. In the absence of confirming if Hockenheim will come to iRacing next season, and a new oval car of which not much is known yet, they have published a tweet in which they show the new damage model that will come for the Formula Renault 2.0 for next season.

Although we know that little by little iRacing is implementing this new damage model to more cars in the simulator, it seems a bit strange to focus on a car that does not have so much participation compared to others that do. Why not direct those economic and human resources to more used cars like NASCAR or GT3? Anyway, the effort and work is still appreciated, as the people who use this car the most will enjoy it even more.
Surely the new damage model will come to more cars this season, as they are announced we will send you this information.
