iRacing: New rain-related features appear in an update

Recently, the game’s developers seem to have accidentally included a feature related to rain in an update. Although the update does not mean that players will be able to race in the rain immediately, it does indicate that the developers are working on this feature.

In the meantime, players can use the game’s “test drive” feature to test out any content that they have downloaded in single player mode. This allows players to access the updates that the developers are currently working on, even while the game is in maintenance mode. By accessing the game’s launcher and downloading the updates, players can test out any new features or changes to circuits and cars before they are officially released.

One of the new features that the update seems to have accidentally included is the ability to choose rain tires in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. While this feature is not yet available to use in-game, it is possible to test it out in the test drive mode.

This is not the first time that the developers have accidentally included something related to rain in an update. A year ago, they included a feature that allowed players to activate a windshield wipers in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, which was meant for rallycross cars to clear mud and dirt from the windshield.

In conclusion, it seems that iRacing’s developers are working on adding rain to the game but have accidentally included some rain-related features in recent updates. Players can test out these features in the test drive mode, but actual racing in the rain is still not available yet.

See you on the track!
