iRacing – Race Engineering Center [UPDATE]

Telemetry is a technology that allows remote measurement of physical quantities for later analysis. Applied in the motorsport world, it will allow us to gather all the information provided by the vehicle to analyze desired aspects like car behaviors that affect the dynamics of the vehicle or driver inputs.

Our main advantage using sims is that we have to completely forget about testing the sensors in the different parts of the vehicle. iRacing offers all this in a simple way.

Dmitriy Linev, introduced a new software for telemetry analysis in iRacing, He had been  working on for quite a while.

What is Race Engineering Center?

Race Engineering Center (REC) is a software complex for telemetry recording and analysis from racing simulators. Currently it supports importing IBT files from iRacing and CSV files exported from MoTeC, and live telemetry recording from AC/ACC and R3E, but I’m working on adding support of other sims as well.
