iRacing Season 1 [2023] is here, and iRacing has a host of new and exciting updates for sim racing enthusiasts. However, the arrival of the Toyota GR86 may change things up a bit, with its own series and the ability to participate in the Roar event (held the week before the 24 Hours of Daytona) giving it a strong foothold in the sim racing world.
For those who enjoy open-wheel racing, the Formula IR04 is the way to go this season, offering the best value for money and a wide range of events to participate in. The Skip Barber, while still a solid choice, may not offer as many opportunities for competition.
Recommended Tracks for the New Season
As for tracks, the Magny Course Circuit, Daytona, and Fuji are all essential purchases, while Silverstone, Monza, or Spa are also recommended for their frequent use in various series. And of course, don’t forget to pick up the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo for even more racing action.
