Season 2 of 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting one, bringing new cars, series updates, and more frequent races. If you’ve been waiting for fresh content and better racing opportunities, this season is delivering in a big way.
Let’s break down the key changes so you know exactly what to expect.
New Car Releases – The ARCA Update is Here!
One of the biggest updates this season is the revamp of the ARCA Menards Series. Say goodbye to the old ARCA car and hello to three brand-new models:
- ARCA Chevrolet SS
- ARCA Ford Mustang
- ARCA Toyota Camry
Each of these cars will be available as individual purchases, and they’ll officially replace the previous ARCA model in competitive racing. If you’re wondering about the Gen 4 Cup, don’t worry—it’s sticking around until Season 3, 2025, when the new Gen 4 cars arrive.
What Happens if You Own the Old ARCA Car?
We get it—no one likes seeing their car removed from official races. To make up for it, we’re offering credits to anyone who purchased the old ARCA/Gen4 package (SKU 1088) in the last year:
- 0-180 days ago → Full credit of purchase price
- 180-210 days ago → 75% credit
- 210-365 days ago → 50% credit
Additionally, the old ARCA/Gen4 package will now be marked as [Legacy] and discounted to $2.95.
Just a heads-up:
This refund is a one-time deal, so if you buy the Legacy package now, you won’t be eligible for another refund when Gen 4 gets replaced in Season 3.
Other Car Updates – BMW and Legends Ford
The BMW M2 CSR is graduating from rookie status and moving into:
- BMW M Power Challenge (Open setups)
- Production Car Challenge (Replacing the BMW M4 F82 GT4 – 2018)
No credits will be issued for the BMW M4 GT4 swap, since there was already a previous refund program for that car.
Legends Ford ’34 Coupe – A Small but Notable Change
The Legends Ford ’34 Coupe – Rookie is being phased out at the rookie level. But don’t worry, we’re not removing the car entirely—we’ll still use the Legends Ford ’34 Coupe, just with a fixed setup.
More Races, Less Waiting
If you love back-to-back racing, you’ll be thrilled with this season’s increased race frequencies.
Rookie Series – Now Every 15 Minutes
We’ve seen amazing participation numbers, so Oval, Sportscar, and Formula Rookie Series will now start a race every 15 minutes instead of alternating times. That means more action and less time sitting in the lobby!
Series Moving from Hourly to Every 30 Minutes
- Draft Master – Shortened by 2 laps for quicker turnarounds
- Ferrari GT3 Challenge
- Toyota GR Cup
- FIA F4 Series – (except the discontinued “Open Series,” and now with 15-minute races)
Series Moving from Every 2 Hours to Every Hour
- NASCAR Gen 4 Cup Series
- INDYCAR Series – Oval – Fixed
- RingMeister
- NASCAR 1987 Legends Cup
Big Changes for Dirt Oval Racing
Dirt fans, we’ve got some exciting updates for you too! Many DIRTcar and World of Outlaws series will now run every hour instead of every two hours.
- DIRTcar & World of Outlaws Series Frequency Updates
- DIRTcar 360 Sprint Car Series (Open & Fixed) → Now hourly
- DIRTcar Pro Late Model Series (Open & Fixed) → Now hourly (Fixed version now runs without heats at :00)
- World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series (Open & Fixed) → Open at :15, Fixed at :45
