iRacing – SimuCube 2 Sport Settings

From being a small company of just three people who manufactured Direct Drive motor controllers thinking mainly in the industry, to being one of the most recognized companies of the Direct Drive revolution of simRacing. And with it the benefits and growth in many other aspects thanks to its pioneering commitment to create a controller that could be freely programmed and manipulated.

SimuCube 2 is so far the culmination of many efforts, resulting in a quality product that meets all the requirements of the most demanding. It comes in three versions, from about 1300 euros to more than 3000 euros, although from the most basic model its principles are fulfilled, which is to offer one of the best Direct Drive sensations on the market to its customers.

Let’s see an example of a profile to use it in iRacing.

An experienced user advises us to adjust these settings to get more detail in the passage through different surfaces, lowering the Reconstruction Filter to 3. If we need even more sensations, we can leave it at 1.

And set Friction to 5 and Damping variable between 10 (single seaters) and 20 (GT’s) depending on the type of vehicle we usually drive.

  • Thanks for posting this. I recently got a simucube 2 pro and will start trying to dial it in during the coming months.

  • Having damping that high isn't beneficial, because you're losing details in the FFB, which are crucial especially in iRacing since you're need to drive much more precise to nurse the tyres compared to other titles.

Also static force reduction is good around 10% since in HDF cars you'll suffer in fast corners over the course of a stint.

Bandwith Limit should be to unlimited, there is no reason to limit it when you don't have any problems with your usb connection.
