Today, 17th August, is the final day to renew an iRacing subscription at the current rates. Prices increase tomorrow, but existing members can renew early without losing any time remaining on their membership.
Today is the last day before iRacing increases its subscription prices.
From 18th August 2026, a one-month membership will rise from $13 to $14.75, three months from $33 to $37.50, 12 months from $110 to $124.50, and two years from $199 to $222.50.
This is only the second subscription price increase in almost 20 years of iRacing. Existing members can still renew at the current rates today, regardless of when their existing membership expires.
That means anyone already planning to continue using iRacing can add more membership time at the current price before the new rates take effect tomorrow.
Renewing today doesn’t waste your existing subscription
Buying additional membership time does not replace the time already remaining on your account.
According to iRacing’s support documentation, an early renewal is added to the end of the current subscription.
If you have eight months remaining and buy another two years today, those two years are added after the existing eight months have expired.
There is therefore no need to wait until your normal renewal date to secure the current pricing.
iRacing’s new subscription prices
| Membership | Until 17th August | From 18th August |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $13.00 | $14.75 |
| 3 months | $33.00 | $37.50 |
| 12 months | $110.00 | $124.50 |
| 24 months | $199.00 | $222.50 |
The increase was announced in July, so the new prices themselves are not new. What matters now is that today is the deadline.
The new rates take effect on Tuesday, 18th August 2026.
Prices for individual iRacing cars and tracks are not changing as part of this subscription increase.
Automatic renewals after today will use the new prices
Members who rely on automatic renewal should also check when their next payment is scheduled.
If an iRacing membership automatically renews after the new pricing takes effect, the renewal will be charged at the new rate.
Renewing manually today allows existing members to add subscription time at the current price before the increase.
For direct iRacing accounts, members can log into their account, select the renewal option and choose how much additional membership time they want to purchase.
Steam subscriptions work differently
Accounts purchased and managed through Steam use a separate renewal and billing process.
Members who originally subscribed through Steam should manage their subscription through Steam rather than using the direct iRacing renewal process.
A direct iRacing account cannot simply be renewed through Steam, even if the accounts have been linked.
Today is the final day at the old iRacing prices
For existing members who already plan to continue racing, 17th August is the final opportunity to extend a subscription at the current standard rates.
From tomorrow, a 12-month renewal will cost $124.50 instead of $110, while the two-year option will rise from $199 to $222.50.
Because early renewals are added to the end of an existing membership, there is no need to sacrifice any subscription time to take advantage of the current pricing.
