iRacing has released a new video showcasing the completely refreshed Summit Point Raceway arriving with the 2026 Season 4 update. The free circuit has received a major visual overhaul covering its track surface, buildings, fences, vegetation, lighting and trackside scenery, with the Jefferson Circuit also included in the update.
The dedicated video was published by iRacing on September 6, giving drivers their clearest look yet at the extensive changes made to one of the service’s most frequently used road circuits.
While the video is new, the Summit Point refresh was first confirmed in iRacing’s August Development Update on August 28. At the time, the developer described the project as a from-the-ground-up upgrade, with almost every major visual element rebuilt to current standards.
What is changing at Summit Point Raceway?
The updated Summit Point features a completely revised track surface alongside refreshed buildings, fences and trackside objects. Trees and shrubs have also been replaced or updated, while additional 3D foliage has been introduced throughout the environment.
iRacing has also updated the circuit’s textures, shaders and lighting to match the visual standards used by its more recent tracks. That should make Summit Point considerably more consistent with newer content, particularly when running changing weather and different lighting conditions.
The work extends beyond the main Summit Point Raceway layout. Jefferson Circuit has received the same refresh, with iRacing confirming that its models, textures, surfaces and surrounding scenery have also been rebuilt.

Summit Point remains free iRacing content
Summit Point Raceway remains part of iRacing’s included base content, meaning existing members will receive the refreshed version automatically rather than having to purchase a new version of the circuit.
The track is particularly important for newer road racers, appearing regularly in lower-license championships and providing several compact layouts suited to cars such as the Mazda MX-5, Formula 1600 and FIA F4.
New drivers can access Summit Point and the rest of iRacing’s included base content through an iRacing membership.
Coming with iRacing 2026 Season 4
The Summit Point Raceway refresh will arrive as part of the 2026 Season 4 build, alongside the similarly extensive Mazda MX-5 update and numerous other physics, content and simulation improvements.
Road Atlanta is also receiving visual improvements for Season 4, although iRacing describes the Summit Point project as the more extensive reconstruction. For Summit Point, every major part of the circuit environment has effectively been brought up to the company’s current artistic standards.
For a circuit available to every iRacing subscriber and regularly used throughout the service, that should make the update one of the most visible free improvements arriving with Season 4.
