More unknown tricks for iRacing. Depending on your use of the testing mode this can be very useful or simply anecdotal. Anyway there it goes.
It seems that the pause option that has been available in offline testing since the beginning of iRacing is not very well known.
Simply press the Pause key on your keyboard in offline testing and it will stop. You can still make adjustments using the black boxes.
I find it useful if I have to do something else (phone call, doorbell, family needs) without having to abort the race. I find it easier to adjust FFB settings, etc., with the camera paused.
With the VR you can also access other third party programs to adjust the shakers, etc., without having to interrupt the run.
You can also assign the pause key to a wheel button using Joy2Key.
See you on the track!
