A few months ago, we mentioned on the website the European tour that Le Mans Ultimate was conducting with Thrustmaster. This tour is now expanding worldwide, including locations such as the USA and Japan. All the information is provided below.

Following a successful three-event tour in Europe earlier this season, the Le Mans Ultimate simulator experience, presented by Thrustmaster and the FIA World Endurance Championship, will be traveling to two more destinations, with stops in America and Japan in the coming months.

The Le Mans Ultimate roadshow began in Italy, at Imola, in April, followed by a visit to Spa, Belgium, in May, and Le Mans for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. Over 5,000 fans attended the European events, and now fans in America and Japan will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of Le Mans Ultimate during FIA WEC race weekends.

The simulator experience, which is free to access, will continue in Austin, Texas, alongside the Lone Star Le Mans round at the Circuit of the Americas later this month (August 30 – September 1). Those heading to the circuit will get an exclusive preview of Le Mans Ultimate, as fans will be able to try out the Hypercars on the newly modeled COTA track, which is expected to be featured in the game later this year.

After the activation in the USA, the simulators will travel to Japan for the 6 Hours of Fuji weekend at Fuji Speedway, where Japanese fans will be able to take laps in cars like the Toyota GR010, the BMW M Hybrid V8, and the Ferrari 499P on the fast and flowing Asian circuit.

The thrill of getting behind the wheel will be heightened for everyone, as Thrustmaster showcases its latest products, including the entry-level T248 wheel and the exclusive Direct Drive T818 for racing simulation, allowing the public to enjoy a fully immersive experience. The Thrustmaster team and Le Mans Ultimate staff will also be on hand to help visitors make the most of the experience and gather their feedback on the game.

“We greatly enjoy working with our partners, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and Thrustmaster to bring Le Mans Ultimate to fans around the world,” said Stephen Hood, CEO of Studio 397. “More than 5,000 people have experienced the thrill of the latest Hypercars in Le Mans Ultimate, and I’m thrilled that we can expand our European tour into a global one.”

“COTA and Fuji are two very different circuits in different parts of the world, and we’re excited to bring the game to these countries and into the heart of the circuits during an FIA WEC race weekend. Additionally, those heading to Austin will have a little extra surprise, as they will be the first to experience our version of COTA, which will be coming to the game… very soon.”

Those who want to join the Le Mans Ultimate grid can take advantage of the introductory price of €29.99. The game includes all the Hypercars and circuits from the 2023 Centenary season, as well as classic LMP2 and GTE cars. The 2024 Season Pass and the 2024 DLC Pack 1 are also available for purchase through Steam, with the latest pack including the Imola Circuit, Lamborghini SC63, and Peugeot 9X8 2024.
