Studio 397 and Le Mans Ultimate continue to update despite still being in Early Access. For this month of July, they have prepared 4 content packs, among many other things.
The first piece of the 2024 season puzzle was put in place with the release of the BMW M Hybrid V8 as the first new car to arrive in Le Mans Ultimate. The first new Hypercar is available for free download via Steam. Make sure to get it if you haven’t done so yet!
Alongside the German Hypercar, a variety of new liveries have been added for all 2024 Hypercars currently in the game; these are also free for all players as part of the June update and include the menacing black Toyota GR010, the striking yellow AF Corse Ferrari 499P, and the retro-themed Proton Competition Porsche 963, to name just a few.
What’s Next?
Following the arrival of the free 2024 liveries for existing Hypercars and the new BMW Hypercar DLC, the first paid DLC pack of 2024 will go on sale later this month. Here’s a hint: it will include Imola (Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola), and the rest of the first DLC pack will be announced very soon.
The 2024 content will be divided into four individual packs, including the July release, and will also be offered as a 2024 Season Pass that bundles all the paid content at a discounted price. In total, it will include four more Hypercars, four new circuits, and seven GT3 cars.
Wondering why there are only seven GT3 cars when there are currently nine on the FIA WEC grid? We will be giving away two GT3 cars for free to all Early Access players, so everyone can experience the latest category of the championship. We will also be updating the LMP2 cars with the liveries of the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans; however, both the GT3 cars and the liveries won’t be available until the end of the year, as we will first complete the Hypercars grid with new manufacturers.
Regardless of whether you purchase any 2024 packs, you will be able to compete against the 2024 grid in Le Mans Ultimate. More information on pricing, content, and the discounted Season Pass will be provided soon before the first release.
