We received a press note from Studio 397 for Le Mans Ultimate . Next week, we will enjoy a second US Track Pack DLC, and there are more news related to bug fixing and RaceControl.gg website.

Hello once again for another update from us – going through all the details and what to expect next week for Version 1.4.2 – and also why it’s not Version 1.5…

Since V1.4 release, we’ve seen and heard from a lot of you – whether that’s bug reports, support tickets, forum posts or social comments. So before we get into the future, let’s do a recap from the last update.

As we acknowledged, RUDP has had a challenging initial rollout. The netcode and disconnections some players were experiencing online is not what any of us want to see – especially given close racing is one of LMU’s strongest attributes.

We have already made changes to the network protocol, reversing some of the initial rollout changes as we continue the refinement of RUDP. We do believe this change is still the right path to take as it will mitigate and reduce disconnection rates, we just need a little more time to fine tune. We are starting public network tests at scale with the involvement of the community. Stay up to date on our public test schedule in our Discord server and socials.

This is also the first update since we rolled out the new protest system. The entire stewarding team is hard at work every day to deliver fairer competition for players, with the system working as intended. We now receive over 1,200 protests a day but only take a fraction of the time to review in comparison to the prior system. We would like to take this opportunity to remind players that only the worst cases of intentional wrecking and unsafe rejoins can be protested in non-championship events. Our stewards still reject on average 70% of protests for racing incidents in daily races or false protests.

For V1.4, we updated a lot – infrastructure, features & content. LMU is a live product under constant improvement, so for this update, not only are we bringing new content, but these will primarily be fixes not features, and lots of them – addressing some of your ongoing UX feedback, online stability and more

V1.4.2 is still a major update – the team have been pushing, putting a lot of time into bug fixing vs anything brand new – you will have to wait until V1.5 for that!

US TRACK PACK 2

The second installment of our US Track Pass is here – featuring 2 more legendary circuits from across the pond.

First up, and everyone guessed it, the rolling, flowing turns of Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. If Daytona was about banking and brute speed, Road Atlanta is the opposite – blind crests, camber changes, and a lap where the smallest mistake compounds all the way down the hill. Arriving in game just in time for the real Petit Le Mans week, with our 10 hour special event in game the following week

Joining Road Atlanta are the unmistakable Streets of Long Beach. The first true street course in Le Mans Ultimate, Long Beach is claustrophobic in the best way – concrete on both sides, blind entries, and zero margin for error – a brand new challenge for drivers.

Road Atlanta and Long Beach form US Track Pack 2, priced at $19.99 or your local currency conversion. Do note, there will be another limited time 10% launch discount for this latest pack.

If players already own the US Track Pass or are a RaceControl Pro+ subscriber, these new tracks will be unlocked for them upon their release

2026 Le Mans & ELMS liveries

Next up, fresh paint. Every year the grid at Le Mans changes, new sponsors, new number boards, sometimes new liveries entirely. V1.4.2 brings the game in line with this year’s actual 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list. You may have noticed we snuck in the 2026 Hypercar Le Mans liveries into V1.4, so this update includes the LMP2 and LMGT3 field with their 24 hour specials.

Not only that – we are also updating the ELMS grid in game to represent the 2026 season – with fresh liveries for all 3 classes.

New RaceControl.GG Preview

Talking of RaceControl.GG…. Something we’ve been teasing for a little while is taking it’s first steps – the new RaceControl.gg website.

Back in V1.4 we told the community about RaceOS, the investment into the platform we have been making in the background and the backbone running everything online. We said most of you wouldn’t notice it directly but with RaceControl.gg you will.

The new home of Le Mans Ultimate online and RaceControl will not just be cosmetic with a new look and feel- the new site has been developed to improve functionality and crucially user experience for players and subscribers.

Players will now be able to see in much greater detail the upcoming races in a full schedule page, before then being able to register for races directly from the webpage without the need to turn on the PC.

For now this is a very early look – there is much to do before we get it into your hands with update V1.5.

What’s next

As for what else is next – V1.5 is not far away and is already shaping up to end 2026 with another big update. The last 2 US tracks are scheduled to land with US Track Pack 3, New RaceControl.gg, and we are still working hard on an improved single player experience and it remains a focus for our team – we’ll give you an update ahead of the next release.

For now, that is enough from us. We hope everyone loves racing the new tracks as much as we do and as always thank you to the whole community for your support and patience – we’ll see you on track!
