Le Mans Ultimate Update 1.4.3 Fixes Driver Swaps and Track Limits

Le Mans Ultimate Update 1.4.3

Le Mans Ultimate Update 1.4.3 is now available on PC, bringing another round of fixes focused on online endurance racing, driver swaps, RaceControl performance and track limits. Studio 397 has also corrected a Ford Mustang GT3 BoP issue and tightened cutting rules at several circuits.

Released on October 6 as Build 25661166, the patch follows September’s larger v1.4.2 update and concentrates primarily on stability and race management rather than new content.

One of the more important changes concerns online driver swaps. Damage should now be restored correctly after disconnecting from an event, while Studio 397 has fixed a rare issue that could cause the AI to take control of the car during a driver swap.

Race engineers can also select “No Change” for tyres correctly, while a separate fix addresses incorrect fair-share information appearing for engineers in solo events.

RaceControl, Netcode and Performance Fixes

RaceControl performance has been improved for large events, with additional protection against two instances of RaceControl attempting to manage the same event. Problems affecting recreated server splits have also been addressed.

On the network side, Studio 397 has increased the server timeout and added a HUD notification for connection issues. A rare problem where current track-limit points were not transferred correctly between teammates has also been fixed.

The update includes two technical fixes targeting unusually long loading times and texture streaming stalls while waiting for the GPU. Replay behaviour has also received attention, including a problem that could prevent a player’s car from appearing correctly.

Stricter Track Limits and BoP Corrections

Track-limit detection can now apply specific point penalties for off-track situations and can be configured around either one-wheel or four-wheel detection. Pit-lane blend lines have also been adjusted to use one-wheel-off detection.

Several circuits receive individual changes. Cutting the Dunlop Chicane at Le Mans is now monitored more strictly, while Interlagos has tougher limits around Turns 8 and 12. Long Beach now more closely monitors pit-exit usage from the main circuit, with additional tightening at Paul Ricard and Portimão.

The Ford Mustang LMGT3 receives a correction for an incorrectly applied BoP weight at Interlagos, alongside further BoP refinements for Road Atlanta, Long Beach, Le Mans, Monza, COTA and Daytona. Studio 397 has published an updated v1.4.3 Balance of Performance document covering the current values.

Other vehicle changes include adding the ADESS AD25 to the 2026 ELMS Championship, correcting illuminated numbers on 2026 Cadillac V-Series.R teams, updating the Ferrari 499P painting template and fixing material and damage-texture issues on the Porsche 963.

Update 1.4.3 is available now for Le Mans Ultimate on Steam.
