Logitech G has confirmed that new sim racing products will be revealed during Logitech G PLAY 2026 on September 23, making the company’s annual showcase one of the key hardware events to watch this month.
The global presentation will begin at 18:00 CEST on September 23 and will be streamed through Logitech G’s official YouTube channel. Logitech has explicitly confirmed product reveals across PC gaming, console, esports and sim racing, although it has not yet identified which racing products will be announced.
That distinction is important. New sim racing hardware is officially confirmed for the event, but Logitech has not announced a new wheelbase, steering wheel, pedal set or accessory ahead of the presentation.
Logitech G PLAY 2026 takes place on September 23
Logitech G PLAY returns for its fifth edition with events taking place across Los Angeles, Warsaw and Shanghai. The main global broadcast begins on September 23, while Logitech will also offer hands-on access to its latest hardware during the Los Angeles event in Venice Beach.
According to Logitech, the presentation will include new hardware alongside updates covering G HUB, streaming, community projects and esports. For sim racers, however, the key confirmation is straightforward: new racing products form part of the reveal schedule.
Logitech has not provided a separate sim racing presentation time, so the new hardware is expected to appear as part of the wider Logitech G PLAY keynote.
The current Logitech racing ecosystem already covers a wide range of price points. The newer R Series is built around the RS50 PC wheelbase, PlayStation-compatible RS50 and complete RS50 System, while the PRO Racing ecosystem remains the higher-end 11 Nm option.
What could Logitech announce for sim racing?
For now, Logitech is deliberately keeping the individual products secret. There is therefore no basis to state that a new Direct Drive base, active pedal, wheel rim or other specific device will be revealed.
What we do know is that Logitech has spent the last several years expanding what was once a relatively closed racing ecosystem.
The current R Series includes the RS Wheel Hub, RS Round Wheel, Formula-style rims, RS Pedals and multiple shifting options. Logitech also offers its Racing Adapter to connect selected older and newer components across the ecosystem.
That broader modular strategy means there are several directions Logitech could take at G PLAY 2026, but none should be treated as confirmed until the presentation takes place.
The safest conclusion is simply that Logitech’s sim racing range will expand again on September 23.
Logitech is running sim racing promotions before G PLAY
There is also an unusually well-timed set of Logitech G racing promotions running immediately before the event.
In participating European markets, Logitech’s current Gift With Purchase campaign runs from August 31 through September 22, 2026, or while stocks last. The promotion ends one day before Logitech G PLAY.
Selected purchases of a PRO Racing Wheel or PRO DD11 wheelbase currently include an RS Shifter & Handbrake at no additional cost. The accessory normally combines sequential shifting and handbrake functionality in a single unit.
Other racing offers include free racing gloves with selected PRO Racing Wheel or PRO DD11 purchases, while customers buying PRO Racing Pedals or RS Pedals can receive racing socks in eligible regions.
Logitech is also offering a wheel rim and hub stand with qualifying RS Wheel Hub purchases, while selected G29, G920 and G923 packages include a Driving Force Shifter.
The exact promotions and pricing vary by country, so buyers should check their regional Logitech G store before ordering.
The timing of the promotions is interesting, but proves nothing
The September promotion ending on September 22 naturally makes the timing notable. However, it would be premature to interpret the campaign as evidence that Logitech is clearing existing hardware ahead of direct replacements.
Manufacturers regularly run promotions around major events, and Logitech has not stated that the PRO DD11, PRO Racing Wheel or any other current racing product is being discontinued.
For someone already planning to buy existing Logitech hardware, the free accessories can still represent meaningful value. For buyers who are not in a hurry, however, waiting until September 23 is the safer option, because Logitech has already confirmed that additional sim racing products will be revealed.
The current Logitech sim racing range
At the more accessible Direct Drive level, Logitech currently offers the 8 Nm RS50 platform. Buyers can choose the RS50 for PC, the PlayStation-compatible version or the complete RS50 System.
The modular ecosystem can then be expanded with the RS Wheel Hub, RS Round Wheel, RS Pedals and Logitech Racing Adapter.
Above that sits the Logitech G PRO Racing ecosystem, based around an 11 Nm Direct Drive platform with TRUEFORCE.
That existing range gives Logitech products across both entry-to-mid-range and premium consumer Direct Drive categories. What G PLAY 2026 adds to that structure will only become clear when the new products are officially unveiled.
Should you wait until Logitech G PLAY 2026?
If you are specifically shopping for Logitech sim racing hardware and do not need it immediately, waiting until September 23 makes sense.
The current Gift With Purchase promotions may be attractive, particularly for buyers who already intended to purchase a PRO Racing Wheel or PRO DD11 and can make use of the free RS Shifter & Handbrake. However, the offers expire immediately before an event at which Logitech has explicitly promised new sim racing product reveals.
Waiting does not necessarily mean today’s hardware will suddenly become obsolete. It simply allows buyers to compare the existing RS50 and PRO ecosystems against whatever Logitech adds next before committing to a larger purchase.
