Logitech G has expanded its sim racing lineup at G PLAY 2026 with the new RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle, RS Pedals SE, and PC-only versions of the RS50 System and G923. Announced on September 23, 2026, the new products focus on giving PC racers more flexible entry points into the Logitech ecosystem while extending the company’s collaboration with McLaren Racing.
The headline product is the Logitech G RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle, a complete package built around the company’s 8 Nm RS50 Direct Drive platform. It combines the RS50 wheelbase with TRUEFORCE, a McLaren-inspired Formula-style wheel, RS Wheel Hub and RS Pedals, while adopting McLaren Racing’s familiar Papaya and black color scheme. Logitech says the steering wheel design takes inspiration from the McLaren MCL38 and the bundle is being offered in PS/PC and PC-only configurations depending on the market.
This is worth distinguishing from the existing McLaren Racing hardware already available in Logitech’s ecosystem. The RS Formula Wheel McLaren Racing Edition was introduced previously, so the significant development at G PLAY 2026 is the expansion into a complete RS50 McLaren package rather than the beginning of the Logitech-McLaren partnership itself. The bundle effectively turns the existing modular RS platform into a ready-made McLaren-themed setup.
RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle Uses the Existing 8 Nm Platform
At the center of the package is the RS50 Direct Drive wheelbase, capable of delivering up to 8 Nm of torque and supporting Logitech’s TRUEFORCE technology. TRUEFORCE uses information from supported games to add additional feedback related to elements such as the engine, road surface and vehicle behavior on top of the conventional steering forces.
The bundle also includes the higher-spec RS Pedals with a 75 kg load-cell brake rather than the newly announced RS Pedals SE. That makes the McLaren Racing Bundle a complete setup rather than an entry-level configuration, with the wheelbase, wheel, hub and pedals supplied together. Logitech also retains the modular design of the RS ecosystem, allowing individual components to be changed or expanded later.
For racers who do not need the McLaren package, Logitech’s RS50 PC platform remains the more conventional route into the company’s 8 Nm Direct Drive ecosystem.
RS Pedals SE Offer a Cheaper Modular Starting Point
The other genuinely new piece of sim racing hardware is the RS Pedals SE. Instead of including the 75 kg load-cell brake found on the standard RS Pedals, the SE version ships as a two-pedal set with contactless Hall-effect sensors for both the accelerator and brake. Logitech is positioning the set as a modular starting point for drivers who do not want to pay for a load-cell system immediately.
The pedal spacing can be adjusted, and owners can later add Logitech’s RS Load Cell Brake Module. Once that upgrade is installed, the original Hall-effect brake pedal can be reassigned as a clutch, turning the initial two-pedal configuration into a more advanced three-pedal setup. Logitech is therefore using the SE model to create a lower entry point while maintaining an upgrade path into the full RS pedal configuration.
The distinction between the two sets is important. The existing Logitech G RS Pedals include the 75 kg load-cell brake from the start, while the RS Pedals SE use a Hall-effect brake unless the optional load-cell module is purchased separately.
RS50 and G923 Get New PC-Only Versions
Logitech is also expanding its racing range with PC-only configurations of the RS50 System and G923. The idea is straightforward: PC racers no longer necessarily have to buy hardware carrying console compatibility they do not intend to use. Logitech describes the strategy as allowing drivers to pay for the functionality they need and upgrade their setup over time.
These PC-only models should not be confused with entirely new generations of the RS50 or G923. Logitech has not announced a new torque specification or force-feedback architecture for either product as part of G PLAY 2026; the RS50 remains an 8 Nm Direct Drive system with TRUEFORCE, while the G923 remains Logitech’s 2.3 Nm TRUEFORCE entry-level racing system. The key change is the addition of dedicated PC configurations within the lineup.
That gives Logitech a clearer progression on PC. New users can enter through the G923 or RS Pedals SE, move into the 8 Nm RS50 ecosystem, and later add components such as a load-cell brake, alternative wheel rims or other RS accessories without replacing the entire setup.
