March 2026 Sim Racing PC Build

The problem we had two months ago has gotten worse to a hardly imaginable extent. Until now, RAM had been the most affected, but since the beginning of the year SSD storage has also skyrocketed. It’s gotten to the point where even the prices of conventional hard drives have gone up. Any component that has the potential to be used in an AI data center has shot through the roof, making it impossible (or very expensive) to turn to equipment of any kind.

In short, we’re screwed. When it’s not one thing, it’s another, and now, with the conflicts breaking out around the world, we’ll have to see what new excuse they come up with to rip us off. I’ve brought almost the same setup I brought in January, because honestly, it’s a bit demoralizing. Make do with what you’ve got, and let’s see what happens with each monthly batch of equipment we bring in from now until the end of the year.

Remember, you can sign up for a free month of Amazon Prime, which offers thousands of products with free home delivery, along with usual services like Video, Music, Twitch (with a free monthly subscription), etc.

Additionally, there’s now a student program that provides all the benefits of Amazon Prime, such as Video, Music, Photos, Twitch, etc., for just $0 for six months if you are a student. Don’t forget to sign up here.

This PC will bring you heaps of joy.
