These are the improvements following the official McLaren information:

  • Born on track: The McLaren 720S GT3 was the first GT model designed and built in-house by McLaren Customer Racing and is based on the highly acclaimed 720S from the Super Series. The new evolution of the GT3 continues the success of the 720S at the head of the international GT field into the 2023 season and beyond.
  • Ultimate race credentials: New 720S GT3 EVO improves on pace-setting customer racing machine. The light but immensely stiff carbon fibre MonoCage II chassis structure and race-prepared version of the M840T 4.0litre twin turbo V8 engine, continues to provide the power and the on track success world wide.
  • Aerodynamically enhanced: Improved aerodynamic performance with more overall downforce. Designed to shift the overall balance forwards and improve the car’s performance, making it more consistent in traffic.
  • Endurance lead: With greater range of suspension adjustability and improved serviceability and robustness in wheel-to-wheel contact. The 720S EVO reflects learnings from the 720S GT3, which has been a front-running GT3 car from its very first race.
