McLaren W1 Is Coming to Forza Horizon 6 on September 10

McLaren has confirmed that the W1 will arrive in Forza Horizon 6 on September 10, 2026, joining the game’s upcoming British Automotive Series.

The latest flagship from Woking will be available exclusively through the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass. According to McLaren’s announcement, the W1 will be added directly to eligible players’ garages when it becomes available.

Playground Games had already confirmed that the British Automotive Series would introduce four new-to-Horizon cars through Car Pass, alongside three additional British cars obtainable through the Festival Playlist. However, McLaren is the first manufacturer to officially identify one of those upcoming Car Pass additions.

McLaren’s new flagship joins the F1 and P1

The W1 continues McLaren’s line of flagship road cars after the McLaren F1 and McLaren P1, both of which are already represented in Forza Horizon 6. McLaren says the W1 will also carry Legendary status in-game.

Its real-world specifications should make it one of the more formidable road cars in the Horizon roster. The rear-wheel-drive W1 combines a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with a hybrid system producing 1,275 PS and 1,340 Nm of torque. McLaren quotes 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 5.8 seconds and an electronically limited 350 km/h top speed.

The car also uses active ground-effect aerodynamics, including McLaren’s Active Long Tail. In Race Mode, the complete aerodynamic package can produce up to 1,000 kg of downforce. Full specifications are available on the official McLaren W1 page.

British Automotive begins September 10

The British Automotive Series begins on September 10. Playground Games has not yet revealed the complete vehicle line-up, so the other three Car Pass cars and three Festival Playlist rewards remain unconfirmed for now.

The McLaren W1 will be available to Forza Horizon 6 players who own the Car Pass, which is also included with the game’s Deluxe and Premium Editions and Premium Upgrade.
