The recent 24 Hours of Le Mans have confirmed the status of one of Spain’s most important drivers. The Catalan Miguel Molina secured a brilliant victory alongside his teammates Nielsen and Fuoco.
This marked Ferrari’s second consecutive victory in its return to Le Mans in one of the closest and most competitive editions on record. The team’s excellent performance in all areas led to this magnificent outcome.
Miguel Molina has competed in various motorsport categories over the years, establishing himself in recent years with Ferrari in the WEC. Initially, he drove GT models, and more recently, he has been at the helm of the Italian firm’s Hypercar prototypes.
We know that he prepares very thoroughly, and part of this involves making the most of the simulator. The information we have is old, from 2020, but it will surely satisfy the curiosity of our readers, eager to see that everything remains relevant today.
We don’t know what equipment Miguel is currently using, but the last we heard, he had an NWS cockpit combined with some of the most sought-after components of the moment.
The pedals are now Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate+ , which are more advanced than those in the photo. The Cube steering wheel is also no longer in use. The base is the timeless classic SimuCube 2 Pro, with the usual comfort enhancements from NWS.
The screen is a 49-inch Samsung, which we’ve mentioned here before. It offers full compatibility with other PC titles and allows for a wide field of view without the hassle of triple screens or losing performance.
Other drivers simulators:
- Lando Norris
- Charles Leclerc
- George Rusell
- Carlos Sainz
- Checo Perez
- Fernando Alonso
- Antonio Giovinazzi
A powerful PC, though we don’t know the specific details, is likely very similar to what we showcase here every month.
The cockpit and seat are classic Sabelt models, just like those used by Ferrari. You probably have more options available on their website now.
From our tests, we recommend using the HF8 mat from Next Level Racing to enhance the experience.
