Jerez, LMDh, Lmp3, Clio Cup, Formula 1600, and more have been some of the new additions to iRacing at the start of this year. In addition to this, the platform’s staff is constantly updating us on future developments, and they have just confirmed a new circuit: Mugello.

The most famous online racing platform continues to expand on different fronts. We know that rain is the most anticipated feature for its fans, although it is expected to arrive at the end of the year. In the meantime, more novelties will be added, as they mention in their forum.

We are also making significant progress on our new weather system along with rain, and we continue to expect to launch these features later this year. This will strengthen our service as a whole, but will more directly impact road racing. We also have several interesting circuits in the works, such as Misano or Mugello, which we will be visiting this week (I don’t think I mentioned Mugello in my last post). As usual, we are working on many more, but I wanted to focus on the dirt racing update.

The Mugello circuit will arrive in the service along with the asphalt and dirt versions of Kern County, expectedly at the end of this year.

The Mugello International Circuit is located in the province of Florence, Tuscany region, Italy. The circuit was inaugurated in 1974 and has been the host of F1 until 2020, currently of Moto GP, and other international categories. The Ferrari team, owner of the circuit, usually uses Mugello to test the behavior of their cars, as it is a track composed of several fast slalom curves, which make it a challenge for the handling and tuning of any car.

See you on the track!
