MOZA HMA150 Motion System Starts Shipping as New Orders Move to November

Moza Racing HMA150 Motion Actuator 01

MOZA’s first complete cockpit motion platform is beginning to reach customers. The €3,199 MOZA HMA150 combines four actuators, 150 mm of travel, speeds of up to 300 mm/s and more than 1G of acceleration, but its most unusual feature is AI Motion, which can generate physical movement and vibration for supported games even when native telemetry is unavailable.

The HMA150 was originally announced in July as MOZA’s first full-cockpit motion system, with orders opening shortly afterwards. Earlier availability estimates pointed towards the beginning of October, although the official store has now moved the estimated dispatch date for current orders to mid-November 2026.

The MOZA HMA150 Haptic Motion System is already commercially available, with the four-actuator package representing MOZA’s first move into complete cockpit motion rather than individual haptic peripherals.

Four actuators and up to 150 mm of movement

The MOZA HMA150 uses four electric actuators to create a 3DOF motion platform capable of reproducing pitch, roll and heave. Instead of limiting feedback to the steering wheel or pedals, the complete cockpit moves to represent braking, acceleration, weight transfer, suspension movement, elevation changes, curb strikes and collisions.

Each HMA150 actuator provides up to 150 mm of travel, while MOZA quotes maximum speeds of 300 mm/s and acceleration exceeding 1G under the appropriate load conditions. High-frequency vibration can also reach 200 Hz, allowing the same system to reproduce smaller effects such as road texture and curb vibration alongside larger cockpit movements.

There is an important qualification to those headline performance figures. With a platform payload of 250 kg, MOZA specifies more than 1G of maximum acceleration and 300 mm/s of maximum speed. At the system’s maximum 350 kg payload, those figures fall to 0.45G and 150 mm/s respectively.

The four-actuator setup supports up to 350 kg in total and uses electric motors combined with ball-screw actuators. Each actuator weighs 6.8 kg, while the complete four-axis system has a rated power consumption of 1,500 W.

AI Motion works without native game telemetry

The most distinctive part of the HMA150 is not necessarily the hardware itself, but the software behind it. MOZA Motion Manager normally uses real-time telemetry from compatible simulation titles to determine how the platform should react to acceleration, braking, cornering and surface changes.

For supported games that do not provide the required native telemetry, however, MOZA has developed AI Motion. According to the company, the system analyzes the game’s visuals and audio in real time, identifies what is happening on screen and generates corresponding motion and vibration effects.

MOZA says AI Motion is intended to complement rather than replace proper telemetry. When a simulator exposes real-time vehicle data, Motion Manager can generate feedback directly from the underlying physics. AI Motion is instead designed to extend motion support to titles where that information is unavailable.

This potentially makes the HMA150 useful beyond the usual selection of PC racing simulators with dedicated motion telemetry. MOZA says the list of titles supported through AI Motion will continue expanding through Motion Manager.

AI Motion requires a relatively powerful NVIDIA GPU

There is an additional hardware requirement for anyone planning to use AI Motion. MOZA currently specifies Windows 10 or Windows 11, at least 8 GB of system memory and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB of VRAM or better.

An NVIDIA Game Ready or Studio driver version 572.60 or later is also required. AMD graphics cards and Intel integrated or discrete GPUs are currently not supported specifically for the AI Motion feature.

These requirements apply to AI Motion rather than the HMA150 motion platform itself, so conventional telemetry-supported simulation titles do not necessarily require the same GPU configuration.

MOZA HMA150 specifications

  • Configuration: Four actuators, 3DOF
  • Movement: Pitch, roll and heave
  • Maximum stroke: 150 mm
  • Maximum speed: 300 mm/s
  • Maximum acceleration: More than 1G under supported load conditions
  • Vibration frequency: Up to 200 Hz
  • Maximum payload: 350 kg
  • Peak thrust: 180 kgf per actuator
  • Actuator weight: 6.8 kg each
  • Rated system power: 1,500 W
  • Software: MOZA Motion Manager
  • Additional technology: AI Motion

The HMA150 is compatible with common 4080, 40120 and 40160 European-standard aluminium profile cockpits, although some configurations require MOZA’s separate Profile Adapter Kit. MOZA also recommends using a separate monitor stand rather than attaching the display directly to the moving cockpit.

An emergency stop is included with the system. MOZA has also implemented controlled descent protection so the platform does not suddenly drop in the event of an unexpected power loss.

€3,199 for MOZA’s first complete motion system

The four-actuator HMA150 package is officially priced at €3,199 in Europe, $2,999 in the United States and £2,799 in the United Kingdom. The package includes four HMA150 actuators and the core components needed to create the motion system.

The MOZA HMA150 can be ordered directly from the MOZA Racing store. Availability varies by region, and the store currently lists an estimated mid-November 2026 dispatch for new orders.

MOZA originally opened orders on July 28 as part of one of its largest hardware launches to date. The HMA150 represented a significant expansion for a company best known for Direct Drive wheelbases, steering wheels and pedals, moving MOZA into complete cockpit motion for the first time.

With SimRacing Expo 2026 taking place in Frankfurt from October 16 to 18, the HMA150 should also be one of MOZA’s more unusual products to see operating in person as the company continues pushing beyond traditional steering and pedal hardware.
