Moza Quick Release – Review

We already said on several occasions when we reviewed Moza products how much we have been surprised by the quality of the Moza Quick Release they use in their steering wheels. Another point in favour is that this same Moza Quick Release can also be bought as a separate accessory. This way we can use third part’s steering wheels that we already own or plan to own with any of the Moza bases.

The  Moza Quick Release adapter is compatible for use with all Moza bases, the Moza Racing R9Moza Racing R16 and Moza Racing R21 , without losing any of the functionality of the base. In our case we have tested a Fanatec BMW GT2 v1 wheel that we already had with the USB conversion done and it works like a charm. As points to keep in mind is that in the packaging of this QR does not come the 6 screws needed for installation and must be screwed from the inside, so in some cases it will be necessary to open the steering wheel housing. In our case this operation has turned out to be simple although we had to remove a few screws quite carefully. It should be noted that the pattern of the steering wheel screws has to be 70 mm, which is usually the most common.

With all this, and seeing the quality of the Moza Quick Release , which has been tested for several months and without any looseness during all this time, it is also possible to get it for a very competitive price if we look at the adapters of the competition. For 79.90 euros on the Simufy website and with immediate delivery as it is in stock (with a 2% discount with our code SFYOPTF7ZMR98). You can also find it cheaper on Moza’s own website but you have to take into account the shipping and probably the extra customs charge so bear it in mind.
