In a recent tweet in the official iRacing account, they indicate that soon the Formula Vee will be arriving to the server for free for everyone. This car will compete in a Rookie category in iRacing and will serve as a starting point for all drivers who want to make their career with open-wheels cars.
Countless legendary careers began behind the wheel of a Formula Vee, and now yours will too!

The Formula Vee is a low-cost car that serves as an extra step after leaving karting for many drivers around the world. Previously, drivers such as Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Emerson Fittipaldi, Keke Rosberg and others have participated in different championships both in America and Europe with the Formula Vee at the beginning of their careers.
Around the world different championships are run with some variants of this car, so we are not sure which one will be the one that comes to iRacing, but being an American company, it makes us think that it will be the car used in the United States.
However, let’s remember that April’s Fools Day, the Anglo-Saxon version of April Fools’ Day, is celebrated on April 1, and we cannot take this announcement as 100% real. Although it is true that iRacing has previously made announcements on some April 1st that ended up being real on other occasions have also been false. We can only wait.
See you on the track!
