Nearly two months after the last update, which introduced three new cars to Gran Turismo 7 , a substantial update is on its way with a promise of more content. Currently, seven new vehicles have been confirmed. Let’s take a look at what these vehicles are.
The producer and creator of the Gran Turismo series, Kazunori Yamauchi (@Kaz_Yamauchi), provides us with silhouettes of a total of 7 undisclosed vehicles on social media. However, thanks to the eager fans, the discovery of these cars doesn’t take long to become public knowledge, often revealed in the responses to his posts. According to the latest message, this update is expected to be available in early November.
Mercedes Benz 190E
Produced between 1982 and 1993, this is a mid-size sedan. Equipped with a range of four and six-cylinder engines, with capacities ranging from 1.8 to 2.6 liters, it offers power ranging from 90 to 185 hp. It features a 4 or 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission.
It made its debut in the Gran Turismo series in Gran Turismo 2 in 1999.
Tesla Model 3
The Tesla Model 3 is a compact five-seater electric car. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds in its most powerful version. It incorporates autonomous driving technology and features a large central touchscreen for controlling functions. The body structure is made of aluminum and steel to optimize weight and safety.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Demon
This high-performance muscle car boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that can produce up to 808 hp (840 hp with the optional power package). It includes rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. With features like the Air-Grabber hood and high-performance tires, its design emphasizes power and aerodynamics. This car can achieve incredible acceleration and high straight-line speeds and was available in a limited edition.
Dodge Charger ’69
The sedan from that era featured a 5.2 to 6.3-liter V8 engine, offering power ranging from 265 hp to 330 hp. The standard transmission was a 3-speed automatic, though a 3-speed manual was also available. This Dodge Charger has appeared in various Gran Turismo titles, from Gran Turismo 2 to Sport.
Lexus LFA
With an unmatched sound from its naturally aspirated V10 engine, the next car included in Gran Turismo 7 is the Lexus LFA. It’s a limited-production supercar, with its engine producing 552 hp. Its carbon fiber chassis and double-wishbone suspension offer excellent rigidity and agile handling. With rear-wheel drive, the LFA can reach a top speed of around 325 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.7 seconds.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992)
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992), recently added to several simulators, is powered by a 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine delivering 502 hp. It features a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Its optimized chassis and adjustable suspension offer high-level performance on the track. Improved aerodynamics and reduced weight contribute to its agility and cornering response.
Nissan NISMO Skyline 400R
Last but not least, the Nissan Skyline 400R NISMO version will be included. It includes an RB26DETT engine producing up to 400 hp. This model is highly regarded by Japanese sports car enthusiasts and has appeared in up to four different Gran Turismo titles, including the latest, Gran Turismo 7 .
