Nvidia Filters for iRacing

Original Source by Stephen Bailey.

If you have too many frames and you’re not served, you can try Nvidia’s filters to make the image more realistic in iRacing and get more effects. Here are the instructions on how to start it up.

In My Documents>iRacing>core.ini

connect_sockets=1

Go to an iRacing session and press Alt+F3 to bring up the GeForce Experience overlay.

In “color” and “brightness/contrast” filters use the following values:

  • Color:
    • Tint Colour: 32%
    • Tint Intensity: 5%
    • Temperature: 10
    • Vibrance: 12
  • Brightness/Contrast:
    • Exposure: 10%
    • Contrast: 31%
    • Highlights: 21%
    • Shadows: 10%
    • Gamma: 0%

You can see the comparison in the following two captures. The performance could drop by 5-10%.

Thanks to Stephen Bailey.

See you on the track!

  1. Hello, this doesn’t work. GeForce Experience says ”
A supported game is required for this function.” What can i do?

  2. This seems appealing but I don’t think I want to spare the performance hit. Also seems that a lot of this could be done with image adjustment done on your monitor/s

  3. Because the pictures are the wrong way around, when you do a comparison, you show the normal one first, then the adjusted one, is how its always done, as you can see by people’s comments expecting the second pic to be the adjusted one.

  4. Love toots like this where the author totally ignored simple questions.
GF doesn’t appear to support iracing per thier own list.
So How do you get GF to see the iracing .exe?????????????????????
