The development company, which is a part of Sony Computer Entertainment and the developer of the Gran Turismo series of titles, has ventured into a collaboration with Nissan for the development of the interior of a new, high-performance prototype vehicle with a rather futuristic style.

On October 25, 2023, Nissan unveiled the conceptual vehicle “Nissan Hyper Force” at the Japan Mobility 2023 show. This Nissan Hyper Force, with a design reminiscent of the GT-R model, is a next-generation high-performance electric vehicle designed to combine the joy of driving with a high level of environmental performance and comfort.

Guided by the expertise of Polyphony Digital

The Nissan Hyper Force features a user interface (GUI, for Graphic User Interface) developed in collaboration between Nissan and Polyphony Digital. This specially designed GUI adjusts the color and display of the instrument panel according to the selected driving mode. The driver can choose between a high-performance mode (Racing) and a GT mode (Grand Touring) for a smooth and comfortable driving experience.

While it is still early to discuss it, as it is slated for release in 2028, it employs a 1,300 horsepower propulsion system with a solid-state electrolyte battery. Additionally, it utilizes an advanced all-wheel-drive system with e-4ORCE technology.

Nissan and Polyphony Digital have successfully collaborated on various projects since the inception of the Gran Turismo series and will continue to work together on future ventures.

The Nissan Hyper Force will be on display at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, alongside other Nissan conceptual vehicles and special editions commemorating the brand’s 90th anniversary.
