Assetto Corsa EVO’s upcoming v0.7 update continues to take shape as Kunos Simulazioni gradually reveals new vehicles set to join the simulator. The latest addition to be confirmed is the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport Evo Kit, a track-only machine that represents one of the most extreme interpretations of the modern 911.
A Porsche Built Exclusively for the Track
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport Evo Kit is based on the already impressive road-going GT2 RS, but takes the concept much further. Developed specifically for circuit use, the car is not street legal and is focused entirely on maximizing on-track performance.
Unlike conventional GT models, the Clubsport Evo features significantly more aggressive aerodynamics, enhanced cooling systems, dedicated suspension tuning, and a setup designed for intensive racing and track day sessions.
A Natural Addition Following Assetto Corsa Competizione
While its arrival may come as a surprise to some players, the inclusion of the GT2 RS Clubsport Evo fits perfectly within Kunos Simulazioni’s strategy.
The model previously shared the spotlight with the Porsche 935 in Assetto Corsa Competizione, where both vehicles belonged to a unique category of limited-production, track-focused machines.
The Porsche 935 has already been announced as one of the vehicles coming in Assetto Corsa EVO’s v0.7 update, making the arrival of its garage companion a very logical move.
So far, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport Evo Kit becomes the third vehicle officially confirmed for Assetto Corsa EVO v0.7.
The other two announced models are the legendary Datsun 240Z/Fairlady Z and the aforementioned Porsche 935. Together, they highlight Kunos’ commitment to maintaining a diverse vehicle roster, blending historic icons with modern high-performance machines.
