We already have the first news for the next season in iRacing. This time, we have a new GT3 that will complete the iRacing garage. The Porsche GT3 R will arrive to iRacing in June, for Season 3.
The engine is the well-known boxer, naturally aspirated, with six cylinders in line and 4.0 liters. Unrestricted, it delivers 549 hp (404 kW), 29 more than the RS, and offers a wider rev range than its predecessor. This mechanics works together with a six-speed sequential gearbox.
Aerodynamics is one of the points that has improved the most in the car, where solutions of the street car have been applied… and some specific ones. The latest evolution of the superimposed triangle suspension has also been installed and the circumference of the front tires has been increased from 650 to 680 millimeters.
All the features of the 911 GT3 RS, plus various track-ready upgrades, are concentrated in the new 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R, a spectacular racing sports car, ready for the next racing season.
