A few days ago, we saw confirmation on social media from Kunos Simulazioni of new content added to Assetto Corsa Competizione – the Ferrari 296 GT3. Well, we have good news as two more additions have been confirmed: the Porsche 992 GT3 R and the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2.
These new models are the latest evolutions in the GT3 category, which debuted in the 2022 season of the GT World Challenge. Both cars have improved aerodynamically, mechanically, and electronically, making them faster, more efficient, and more competitive.
Porsche 992 GT3 R
The Porsche 992 GT3 R was first presented at the 2022 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. It features a 4.2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, producing around 565 horsepower. The transmission is derived from the current 911 GT3 Cup. You can see a small teaser in the following video.
Lamborghini Huracan Evo2 GT3
On the other hand, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo2 GT3 is based on the STO version of the Huracan, and in the trailer, you can see its more aggressive and aerodynamic design that sets it apart from previous versions. It has a 5.2-liter V10 engine that provides around 620 horsepower.
Both cars, along with the new Ferrari, will be available in Assetto Corsa Competizione’s Steam store, although they are expected to arrive on consoles on April 19, 2023.
