Project Motor Racing’s next DLC will launch on September 15 with nine V8-powered race cars and a laser-scanned Road Atlanta, while the Lamborghini Temerario will arrive separately as free content.
Straight4 Studios is preparing the V8 Power Pack as the next paid content release for Project Motor Racing. The DLC is scheduled for September 15, 2026, expanding the simulator with nine cars divided between Australian V8 machinery, modern American TA2 racers and historic Trans-Am models. A laser-scanned version of Road Atlanta is also included.
The pack was already listed on Project Motor Racing’s Year 1 roadmap for Q3 2026, but its full car line-up, circuit and exact release date have now been detailed. It forms part of the Year 1 Season Pass, alongside the previously released Group 5 Revival, Japanese Prototypes and GT Icons packs.
Nine V8 Cars Across Three Classes
The V8 Evo category receives two 2023 Australian racers: the Ford Mustang AU and Chevrolet Camaro AU. They are joined by three 2022 cars in the USV8 class, consisting of the Dodge Challenger TA/2, Ford Mustang TA/2 and Chevrolet Camaro TA/2.
Four classic American machines complete the line-up under the Historic USV8 category:
- 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 TA
- 1970 Plymouth Barracuda TA
- 1970 AMC Javelin TA
- 1968 Chevrolet Camaro TA Z28
The selection gives the DLC a clear V8 and Trans-Am theme, ranging from current-generation Australian touring cars and modern TA2 machinery to American racers from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Road Atlanta and a Free Lamborghini Temerario
The nine cars will be accompanied by a laser-scanned Road Atlanta, adding the Georgia circuit to Project Motor Racing’s track roster. Its inclusion also fits the pack’s focus on American road racing.
Separately, Project Motor Racing will use Gamescom 2026 to showcase the Lamborghini Temerario. Visitors in Cologne can drive the new Lamborghini in the simulator during the event, with the car then scheduled to be added to Project Motor Racing for free in September. The Temerario is not listed as part of the paid V8 Power Pack.
Standalone pricing for the V8 Power Pack has not yet been formally announced through Project Motor Racing’s main website. The DLC remains included in the Year 1 Season Pass, with its September 15 release placing it ahead of the World Endurance Pack currently planned for Q4 2026.
