From 2013 to 2016, RaceRoom had the annual DTM content in the simulator thanks to the sponsor between Sector3 Studios and the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, and on May 31st, they announced via Twitter that they have again obtained the DTM license to bring the 2020 content to RaceRoom.
Earlier this year, Aston Martin announced its withdrawal for this season, leaving the series with only two participants: BMW and Audi. However, Audi announced a few months ago that this would be its last season in the DTM to focus on other categories, which would leave the series virtually dead with only BMW as a participant. As a consequence, the series’ organizers will have to re-engineer the format or look for new manufacturers to bring the series to life and not make it a single brand.
Yesterday, Raceroom released the first images previews with the next content coming soon!
