Playground Games moved the saga to Mexico, giving it a fresh new feel while maintaining the most beloved elements of its identity. More of everything, although with a slightly less distinctive personality than its predecessor. A top-tier entertainment experience that will provide you with hundreds of hours of fun.
Gran Turismo 7
The latest Gran Turismo installment aims to do it all—and at times, it succeeds, feeling like the game we used to play on the PSX but updated for modern times. More of everything in this entry, which continues to receive updates every month and remains one of PlayStation 5’s flagship titles years after its release.
Dirt Rally
An unexpected gem that brought together the best of the genre with stunning graphics and still feels fresh even today. It can be purchased for next to nothing and contains a significant part of rally history. A must-have, only surpassed by its sequel. Perhaps this and its successor are the only two titles truly worth playing with a wheel, but even with a controller, they offer great handling.
Dirt Rally 2.0
If the first one was good, this 2.0 version is even better. More of everything in a title that represents the pinnacle of Codemasters as a rally game developer. It remains relevant in many ways and, along with Richard Burns Rally, holds an almost sacred status for time-trial enthusiasts.
Super Woden GP II
A game that brings back the isometric perspective of classic ‘90s arcade racers, adding a fresh twist and multiplying the fun by a thousand. Circuit racing, rallies, ovals—you name it. Much of automotive history is present in this game, which pays homage to various classics while respectfully incorporating gameplay mechanics reminiscent of the original Gran Turismo.
