RENNSPORT continues to expand its content offering and refine its core systems with the release of the Coast to Coast update, available starting June 11. This new version introduces two of the most iconic racing circuits in the United States, delivers a second major iteration of the AI system, and lays the groundwork for a new pricing strategy that will permanently lower the simulator’s entry cost.
In addition to new free content, the studio has confirmed a series of technical fixes and improvements designed to address feedback and requests from the community over the past several weeks.
Laguna Seca and Sebring Arrive as Free Content

The headline feature of the Coast to Coast update is the addition of two legendary American racing circuits: WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Sebring International Raceway.
Located in Monterey, California, Laguna Seca is one of the most recognizable tracks in the world thanks to its famous Corkscrew, a dramatic downhill sequence that demands absolute precision from drivers. Its constant elevation changes and heavy braking zones make it a technical challenge for any racing category.

Sebring International Raceway, meanwhile, offers a completely different experience. Built on the grounds of a former military airfield, the circuit is known for its extremely uneven surface, combining sections of modern asphalt with its original concrete slabs. The intense vibrations and notorious bumps have made Sebring a benchmark for endurance racing and a true test of vehicle setup and durability.
With this update, both circuits become permanent additions to the RENNSPORT track roster.
Artificial Intelligence Receives One of Its Biggest Overhauls Yet
Another key pillar of the Coast to Coast update is the evolution of the simulator’s AI system. According to the development team, this new version is part of a broader transition aimed at removing legacy limitations and creating more consistent and competitive opponents.
Among the most significant improvements is the reduction of the AI’s dependence on frame rate performance. This should allow opponents to behave more consistently regardless of the player’s hardware or graphical settings.
The developers have also increased the overall pace of AI competitors while refining their aggression levels, making AI-controlled cars more competitive throughout an entire lap.
Several issues directly affecting the racing experience have also been addressed:
- Elimination of the well-known “phantom braking” issue.
- Improved racing lines to keep AI vehicles within track limits.
- Corrected behavior on banked circuits such as Daytona.
- Fixed issues that could cause false starts on certain tracks.
- Reduced erratic movements and abnormal oscillations from some AI-controlled cars.
Despite these improvements, the studio acknowledges that some issues remain unresolved, particularly AI-to-AI collisions on tracks such as Sebring and the Nordschleife. These areas are already part of the next phase of development.
Additional Fixes for Gameplay, Vehicles, and Audio
The update also introduces several fixes aimed at improving the simulator’s overall stability.
On the gameplay side, the developers have resolved an issue that occasionally displayed incorrect championship standings. They have also fixed a critical session-transition bug that could incorrectly register all participants as DNS (Did Not Start) under certain conditions.
As for vehicles, the 1998 Mercedes-Benz CLK LM receives a fix for its HUD display, which could previously fail to update or show telemetry information during specific racing situations.
The audio department has also received attention, with a fix for an issue affecting the sounds of the legendary Porsche 956.
Finally, the telemetry system has been fully localized across all supported languages, improving consistency and readability for international players.
RENNSPORT Will Permanently Reduce Its Price by 50%
Beyond the technical update, the team behind RENNSPORT has announced a significant change to its pricing strategy.
Starting on June 19, the simulator’s Standard Edition will receive a permanent 50% reduction in its base price, eliminating the need for temporary promotions and platform-specific discount campaigns.
According to the developers, the move is intended to create a clearer and more consistent pricing structure for all players, regardless of where they purchase the simulator. The decision is also part of the commitment presented during the Munich Summit to deliver “twice the content at half the price.”
