RENNSPORT: Summer Beta and Exciting New Content

With the delayed closed beta of RENNSPORT in February, we were left eager to try out this highly talked-about new simulator, especially knowing that it has its own official competition with an in-person final.

The ESL R1 2023 “Spring Major” (a competition that utilizes RENNSPORT as a simulator) will take place in Munich on June 3rd and 4th. Alongside the competition, the release date for the much-anticipated closed beta will be revealed.

Despite the short time remaining until its launch, it is still unclear whether the closed beta will already have VR support or if all the content will be available for testing. We will have to wait until June 3rd to learn more details about this free-to-play simulator.

New cars and circuits

Morris Hebecker, CEO of Competition Company, is heavily involved in the development of RENNSPORT and has revealed in a podcast that “four or five new cars, as well as new circuits, will be ready to showcase in Munich.”

In an official tweet, we get to know one of these “four or five” new cars.

Furthermore, we have confirmation, almost resolving the doubt, that RENNSPORT will not only feature GT3 cars. In a brief teaser, alongside four other vehicles, the silhouette of what appears to be a “prototype” can be seen.
