Nacon has teased what appears to be a new, more affordable Revosim wheel, wheelbase and pedal set ahead of its next News From the Pits presentation on 21st August.
Revosim appears to be preparing a second sim racing hardware range, with a new wheel setup briefly shown in Nacon Racing’s latest teaser.
The hardware will feature during the next News From the Pits showcase, scheduled for 21st August at 6 pm CEST. Only a few seconds of footage were shown, but the package appears to include a new wheelbase, steering wheel and two-pedal set.
Its design is noticeably simpler than the existing Revosim RS Pure hardware, which suggests it could sit below the current 9Nm Direct Drive bundle as a cheaper entry point. The controls visible on the wheel also suggest possible PlayStation compatibility, although Nacon has not confirmed platform support.
Revosim could be preparing a cheaper console-focused bundle
Revosim entered the sim racing hardware market with the RS Pure bundle, which combines a 9Nm Direct Drive wheelbase with load-cell pedals.
The teased setup appears to target a different part of the market, with a simpler wheel and pedal configuration that could make it more accessible than the existing RS Pure package. If PlayStation support is confirmed, Revosim would also be competing more directly with console hardware from Fanatec, Thrustmaster and Logitech.
Nacon has not announced torque output, pricing, a release date or full specifications.
