Sim-Lab has announced they will present a new Direct Drive Wheelbase during the SimRacing Expo this weekend in Dortmund. Let’s see what we know until now.
We are thrilled to invite you to the ADAC Sim Racing EXPO,taking place from October 18th to 20th in Dortmund, to get hands-on with the first Tech Preview of our upcoming Direct Drive Wheelbase system, set to launch in 2025.
We’re making a bold claim: this will be the best direct-drive wheelbase on the market. By partnering with the absolute best in motor control — developed and refined in more then over a decade — and utilizing high-end, precisely engineered servo motors, we’ll deliver unparalleled torque control technology resulting in incredibly smooth, and highly accurate FFB.
As we move toward the next generation of Direct Drive wheelbases, we’re challenging the status quo in the current market. There are some misconceptions about Servo Motors which are persistent, but we’re confident in bringing something truly better to the market that stands apart from what’s available today.
We will be revealing more along the way, but for now the most important is to gather feedback on our current design. We’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
