SIMAGIC has officially launched the TB-Neo, a new modular sim racing handbrake featuring a 100 kg load cell, adjustable elastomer resistance and optional hydraulic and haptic upgrades for $139.
SIMAGIC has expanded its NEO hardware range with the launch of the TB-Neo Handbrake, a new force-based handbrake designed for rally, drifting and other disciplines where progressive control is important.
Priced at $139, the TB-Neo uses a 100 kg load cell rather than relying primarily on lever travel to measure input. SIMAGIC is positioning the new model around modularity, allowing users to change its mechanical resistance and later add hydraulic damping or telemetry-driven haptic feedback without replacing the complete unit.
The TB-Neo is available now through SIMAGIC and its authorized retailers.
100kg Load Cell and Adjustable Resistance

At the centre of the TB-Neo is a 100 kg load cell, combined with a 12-bit sensor providing 4,096 input steps.
SIMAGIC says the handbrake also uses its Full-Range Adaptive Sensing Technology, based around a cascaded amplification circuit intended to preserve detail across both lighter and heavier inputs.
Rather than using a fixed resistance configuration, the TB-Neo incorporates an elastomer-based system similar in concept to SIMAGIC’s P1000 pedal platform. Users can combine different elastomers to alter the resistance curve and overall lever feel, with the company’s P-ORP elastomers also compatible between the two products.
Travel, spring tension, resistance, dead zone and response linearity can all be adjusted.
The main structure combines a die-cast aluminium body with CNC-machined components, while the handle itself uses POM material. The complete unit measures 209.5 x 73.5 x 382.5 mm and weighs 1.36 kg.
Hydraulic and Haptic Upgrades
The most distinctive feature of the TB-Neo is its upgrade path.
SIMAGIC has designed mounting points into the handbrake for the company’s P-HPR and P-HPR GT haptic reactors, allowing telemetry-generated effects to be transmitted through the lever.
This could be used to communicate events such as wheel lock or other in-game telemetry rather than limiting feedback to the mechanical resistance of the handbrake itself.
Users wanting a different mechanical feel can instead add SIMAGIC’s P-HYS or P-HYSi hydraulic modules, introducing fluid damping without purchasing the more expensive dedicated TB-RS hydraulic handbrake.
Both the haptic reactors and hydraulic systems are optional and sold separately. This modular approach allows the $139 TB-Neo to start as a conventional load-cell handbrake before being upgraded depending on the user’s requirements.
Horizontal, Vertical and Pull-Type Configurations

SIMAGIC has also provided several physical adjustment options.
The lever can be installed horizontally for layouts closer to a road car or vertically for rally and drifting applications. There are five available angle positions, while the height of the pull rod can also be adjusted.
Alternative mounting holes allow the mechanism to be converted into a pull-type handbrake configuration.
SIMAGIC includes mounting hardware for both bracket trays and aluminium-profile cockpits, reducing the need for additional hardware for conventional installations.
The standard package also contains multiple springs, spacers and elastomers so users can begin adjusting the resistance without purchasing an additional tuning kit.
USB-C, Alpha and Alpha EVO Connectivity
On PC, the TB-Neo can connect directly through USB-C.
It can also connect to SIMAGIC’s Alpha-series wheelbases over CAN, while the newer Alpha EVO series supports an RJ45 connection using CANFD.
Configuration is handled through SimPro Manager, where users can calibrate the handbrake, adjust dead zones and create different response curves. SIMAGIC provides linear, exponential, logarithmic and S-curve presets alongside fully customizable curves.
Firmware updates are also handled through the same software environment.
SIMAGIC TB-Neo Price and Availability

The SIMAGIC TB-Neo costs $139 and is available now from the manufacturer’s website and authorized SIMAGIC retailers.
The standard package includes the complete handbrake, an elastomer accessory set, cables and mounting hardware. Hydraulic modules, haptic reactors and additional elastomer kits are sold separately.
At $139, the TB-Neo enters SIMAGIC’s range as a highly configurable alternative to its existing handbrakes, with the main difference being the ability to evolve from a conventional 100 kg load-cell unit into a hydraulic or haptic-equipped setup.
For users who do not need those additional systems immediately, the base configuration remains fully functional on its own, while the modular design leaves room for future upgrades rather than requiring a complete replacement.
